Here is a suggestion to a beginning. If I use bad grammar, poor storytelling or anything else, please make a suggestion, not an opinion. It is just something quick I wrote today on the train and I am sure that with your additions it will be hugely improved!
This is for something to be put at the start of the SWTOR entrance to the website that Winagrim has written about. It still has nothing from the light side, so we need that added. We still need to evolve the story, but that can be done along the way and in the separate forum parts. This is the welcome page. Any creative input is welcome, someone who just has a different opinion will be ignored.
TGG - The Grey and the Grim
As all beginnings go there is a start. And before this start there was another.
Nothing is created from a void, well except maybe from the very start, but who would read a story on that scale?
One start begins with a split. An ancient order torn into two. Once a unified goal to embrace all the aspects of the mythical Force, the Guardians! But as in every truth there are several truths, and as a truth is absolute, it cannot contain them all.
And so the cell splits and a multitude of forms appear and evolve. Soon all that remains of the original is a faint memory. Recognize the story? Nothing is original; everything reinvents itself over and over.
In the start that now launches, there are two stories: The Grey and the Grim

We are of the Empire. To all eyes we are true to their struggle. Their struggle... Pathetic...of course we have our own goals, but the Empire will serve us well in our strife, at least for now.
You can find us in the ranks of the army, the divisions of the sith and in the cantinas hiring out our services as bounty hunters. We are invisible, hidden in the vast body of resources the Empire has. Resources we can bend to our own purposes.
We make sure our recruits feel taken care of, whether you are from the Navy or Army, of the sith or Bounty Hunters -there is a recruit officer from your background ready to support your growth in power
In addition to the services we provide the Empire we also have a small side operation that we do in our spare time. To further our power this threat has the main priority, overrides any other commands.
A cult of heretics, consisting of Jedi and other like-minded fools called The Grey Guard must be wiped out from the galaxy, wherever they are nesting. Only in their death will the power our ancestors promised us be released. Any items they carry must be brought to our seat of power where they will be studied by our historians. Our founding scriptures are not complete, and much knowledge has been lost to us. We know at the split of the Guardians, we managed to extract a vast part of the mutual resources, but the Grey Guard managed to lock away many of the treasures that were rightfully ours. Now that we have grown stronger it is time we took them back!
If you prove worthy the Grim Guard will bring you power beyond what anything else in the galaxy can provide. It is your destiny.
