Has anyone ever got this error code: 0x80004005

I tried logging in tonight but after entering my username and password all I get is "Getting in line to connect" followed by an error: "Failed to queue for server: 0x80004005"

Can anyone help? The online support was useless (though I did raise a ticket).

It can be of several reasons, one is that your firewall on computer and also in the router you have blocks the connection. The other is a possible dns-error ie. you have a bad cached address so trying to clear the dns-cache might work (to clear the dns-cache open a command prompt as admin and run "ipconfig /flushdns").

Sounds like a typical Windows error (not specifically LoTRO) that usually means "unspecified error" (gotta love the error messages Microsoft throws at us :D) The better error message is the one that just means "something went wrong". It could be related to account privileges or network issues... I'd look into doing a proper malware and anti-virus scan aswell. (Malwarebytes.org is okay I hear).

0x80004005, I remember seeing 0x80005005, but not 0x80004005. The Grey Guard!
