Hello everyone!

Since I don't play as much as I used to I seem to have lost the edge when it comes to minstrelling.

Earlier today I was questing around Torsbury in the western Rohan and I just couldn't stop dying. I was level 95 and the quests I was doing was for level 90. The mobs were all green or light-blue and they killed me 10 times or more in about 1 or 2 hours. The carnage didn't really stop until I was able to move on to the Fangorn quests.

First I did some fighting on horse-back but I didn't seem to be able to stay on my steed for very long. Sure, riding around in that area doing AOE probably gave me some more problems than I should have had, but it also seemed a lot harder to do damage than it used to. Fighting several mobs at once never really was a problem before but today I had a hard time fighting off two at a time. More than that usually got me killed really quick.

Upon entering Torsbury I ran into similar problems, but this time on foot. Doing DPS it was hard killing the mobs unless I was able to take them on one by one. I died quite a few times here as well. Healing myself wasn't as effective as I thought it'd be. I also had to redo the instance at the end 3 or 4 times before I managed to finish it by swithing between healing and DPS, and standing back to let the AI:s do most of the work.

Well, it was real frustrating, and I now want to figure out if the game got more difficult or if I was doing something wrong.

The class trait tree were reset again this morning so I had to redo the settings there again. I think I got all the legendary items in order and the steed trait tree seemed to be all set. I haven't really gone through my equipment in a long time but I have been changing gear for newer stuff from quests.

So, what can I do? Did the game got more difficult or do I need to shape Winagrim up somehow? Anyone got ideas?

Well, I have not done any of the Rohan content since update 14 but the new update seems to have heralded in a slight increase in difficulty that I have experienced in Gondor, it's no longer the faceroll content that we had before this update. The mobs are hitting harder now and Imryll has died many times travelling thru Gondor on her and Isa has had the same problem although between the LM pets and her, she has managed to survive. So now, we have to be careful when pulling mobs and to not get overwhelmed.

PS. I hope I got this right Blum 3 or I must be some crappy LM and RK .. hehe Biggrin

I just realized that the legendary weapon that I use is level 75 and the legendary book as well as the light bridle is level 85. All of them 2:nd age items. I better do something about that. :O

Been travelling around Edoras as Ura, and havent had much issues with non-elite as long as I dont engage more than one at a time. As soon as there are more, esp. the ones that do bleeds or disease/poison, I need to pay attention and use stuns and heals and honestly if there's more than 2 I die more often than not. The elites I need to be ready with a stun midway and heal up a bit. I've skipped a few instances / given up due to not finishing the end boss, might go back and work through the quests when Ser is back to actively play not just follow Blum 3

I thought it was just me finally being "on level" or so with the quests, but maybe things are tougher? Still using old second agers, but upgrading all other gear as I get quest rewards.
