The Great Barrow
Introduction
"Othrongroth, the Great Barrow, the oldest and largest of the Edain mounds within the Barrow-downs... And home to some of the most terrifying servants of the Witch-king."
Location
Located in The Barrow-downs at [33.8S, 55.8W] in Bree-land.
Instance
The Great Barrows is now divided into three separate instances, available from the instance join panel. Great Barrows Maze is available at level 20, Thadur at 22, and Sambrog at 24 presuming both halves of the key have been obtained from the prior two. They may be set at any level higher than the minimums. Characters of lower level may be brought into the instances by a Fellowship with leader high enough level to open them. Rewards are various marks.

Bosses
Maze
Barrow Wight Caller who summons two wights and then crawlers come which burst poison clouds.
If they reach the top of the stairs, the fight resets. The Ancient Tomb-Wights in the room do not reset, however.
Gaerthel and Gaerdring: Dual Elite Masters, approx 8000 Morale each.
Upon starting the fight, they will talk, then left one will attack, summoning extra mobs, and arms.
After death of first one, second starts in. The second boss doesn't spawn additional mobs, however the fight may be reset after the first dies. Doing this does NOT leave the corpse of the first boss to loot (was changed at release), so it is possible to kill the first guy, loot, and reset.
The first boss drops left part of the key for Great Barrow -- The Gate to Sambrog.
Thadur
Thadúr the Ravager: Elite Master, approx 9000 Morale.
Battle stops three times (7000 morale, 4000 morale, 2000 morale), calling in additional mobs.
Cannot hurt him until his adds are dead.
If he gets out of the hall, he resets.
He can put some major diseases on you, which drain power, or put a countdown on you. If you are not cured in that countdown, you are stunned for 15 seconds and drained of all your power. So disease pots are heavily recommended.
Drops right half of key for Great Barrow -- The Gate to Sambrog.
Sambrog
Sambrog: Level 25 Nemesis, approx 14.5k Morale
Need to complete Great Barrow -- The Gate to Sambrog to join the instance.
Random 'ghost' adds, Signature, 1.5k health. They recharge Sambrog, so it's advisable to take out the two spirits.
'Duration' battle, hope for blue conjunctions for power.
If your burglar is not 21 or 22+, he may have a hard time hitting the boss with conjunctions. If the fellowship needs power, just have him aim the conjunction on the spirit mobs instead. They are easier to hit.
