About this site

This site is made using the content management system Drupal. As such it's to be considered as a "work in progress" with almost endless possibilities to add new functionality as we go. If you want a new feature added please tell our administrators and they will take it into consideration.

The basics

Drupal is a system that arranges content into so called "nodes". A node is basically any main content like a page, a forum thread, a gallery image or a private message. A comment, however, is not a node.

The layout can easily be changed by applying different themes to the site. The theme that we use here is called Acquia Slate. Depending on the theme content can be put into different regions by using "blocks". A block is for instance the black "My Chars"-block that we display over the banner. Another is "In the Spot" to the left on the frontpage.

Some functionality can be somewhat hard to understand at first glance. Therefore we will try to describe them on the pages below. If there are any information missing please just tell one of our administrators.
